Rushrose GSM 2019
Bob Lindquist is one of California’s original Rhône Rangers and the founder of the renowned Qupé winery. His private Rushrose release blends Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre from premium Paso Robles (and the great 2019 vintage). This is a HUGE coup …
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

Beyond the Label

Here’s your chance to taste the GSM revolution.

Original ‘Rhône Ranger’ Bob Lindquist is revered for his role in making Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvédre blends a thing in California. He’s devoted his life to proving that the great grapes of France’s Rhône Valley can thrive equally under the California sun. And with the help of a few like-minded friends (like the famous Randall Grahm), a movement began.

Bob went on to found the massively successful winery, Qupé in 1982, building one of the first “cult” wine brands in the United States. A few years ago, during a wildflower “super bloom,” Bob was inspired by the gorgeous, and hearty, rushrose poppy (depicted on the label) and created this silky, brambly exclusive (which also shows off Paso Robles’ stellar 2019 vintage).

Because our California expert goes way back with Bob, he gave her first dibs – so you’ll be among the precious few to taste his handiwork. If you’re quick, that is.
