Beyond the Label

Made in celebration of NPR’s satirical news quiz, Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me!, this vibrant Cabernet Sauvignon is so good, it might cause feelings of love towards The Californians. (You’ve been warned!)

Talented winemaker—and avid NPR listener—Trevor Sheehan crafted it with grapes from a prime-sited vineyard in Monterey County. Here, the long growing season and brilliant sunshine help grapes develop complex aromas and flavors, while cooling breezes from the nearby Monterey Bay lock in freshness. And thanks to the superb 2019 vintage (yet another in a string of great harvests), quality is at a high.

Back in the winery, Trevor aged the Cabernet in fine American oak barrels. This imparted toasty spice notes to the wine’s ripe plum, cherry and currant flavors. Enjoy a glass with your favorite NPR programs or alongside a meal—roasted meats, veggie burgers or hearty pastas will all be tasty matches.

However you plan to enjoy this exclusive Cabernet, don’t wait to order your share. Limited cases available.
