Beyond the Label

Listen First invites NPR fans to listen before we talk and to challenge our prejudices as we dive deep into NPR’s original content. Together, let’s be invigorated by a deeper understanding and appreciation of events, ideas, and cultures. When you have time to “listen first,” pour a glass of this captivating Pinot Noir to help you ponder.

Our winemaking team sourced the Pinot Noir grapes from Paso Robles, “one of California’s most dynamic regions,” according to Wine Spectator’s Tim Fish. And thanks to the fantastic 2018 vintage, they had their pick of premium fruit. Paso Robles’ hot, sunny days allowed the grapes to develop seriously intense flavors, while the cool nights locked in that vibrant freshness all Pinot fans crave.

Look forward to ripe cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and subtle clove aromas and flavors. On the palate, a silky texture introduces juicy, red-berry flavors, velvety tannins, and a lengthy, fresh finish. Feel free to chill your bottle for an hour or so to bring out those vibrant characters, then serve with roasted turkey, meaty salmon, and more.

Order your share of this exclusive Pinot Noir today to enjoy when you’re ready to “listen first.”
