Flavor Profile
When it comes to elegant rosé, Provence reigns supreme. And Bandol stands as one of the region’s finest appellations. Maison Maillet Bandol Rosé offers a delightful twist on the typical Bandol style—it’s light in color, crisp and delicately fresh. A top-tier Provençal rosé with soft red berry fruit, floral notes and a touch of crispness. A truly sophisticated choice for rosé lovers.
Their small, family-run estate lies in the heart of Provence, near to the Grand Prix Paul Ricard circuit and just a short drive from the medieval village of Le Castellet. The Maillet family has been part of the local wine scene since 1860, working initially as négociants (merchants who buy unfinished wine to complete, bottle and sell under their own label), but over time, has become one of the region’s most respected producers.
Today, talented winemaker and sixth-generation Jean-Claude runs the show, working closely with a network of top growers to source grapes from perfectly sun-kissed parcels. This cuvée is a heartfelt tribute to his grandfather, Louis.
A classic blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault, it’s everything you’d expect from a top-notch rosé: a pretty pale color, juicy citrus and delicate red fruit flavors, lovely floral notes and a lingering savory tone.
Bandol rosé is never around for long—especially at prices like this. Order your share now to avoid missing out.
