Beyond the Label

Screen acting pioneer Lillian Gish defined ethereal beauty and grace in the early days of cinema. With its delicate, citrusy hues, this elegant Italian Pinot Grigio is a deliciously fitting match for “the First Lady of American Cinema.”

To craft our Lilian Gish Pinot Grigio, we turned to maestro Alessandro Gallici, the winemaker behind some of our most stunning Italian whites. He headed to the cool, mountain-ringed vineyards of northern Italy’s Venezie region, where Pinot Grigio grapes develop an optimum balance of ripeness and mouthwatering freshness. Back in the cellar, Alessandro treated the wine to kid-glove care at every stage of winemaking to coax out the vibrant fruit character.

You’re in for layers of fresh apple, pear, and lemon notes, underpinned by classic hints of almond. This will make an ideal match for seafood or crisp salads, especially if the dish is topped with a squeeze of citrus to play up the wine’s zesty flavors.

It was very difficult to make a wine as lovely as Lilian Gish, but we think Alessandro has done a wonderful job. Order your share of this enticing Pinot Grigio, then let us know your thoughts with a review.
