L'Épiphanie de Bordeaux Blanc 2020

Bordeaux’s classic reds might get most of the attention, but the white wines offer a unique thrill, too. Fans spend big money for fine releases from the top châteaux. But thanks to our longstanding connections in the region, you don’t have to.

The wine under this L’Épiphanie label comes from the same vineyards of the estate whose cult white currently fetches over $200 a bottle. We can tell you that it’s one of only five Premier Cru Classé châteaux in all of Bordeaux. We just can’t say which one (as they need to protect their premium prices).

We can also tell you that the estate’s vineyards benefitted from a fantastic growing season in 2020. As critic James Suckling writes, “2020 is the third outstanding vintage in a row for Bordeaux and marks perhaps the first time the region has experienced such a high-quality trilogy of superlative years.”
