Domaine Martin Côtes du Rhône 2020
From a family estate founded in 1905, this classic Côtes-du-Rhône is one of our smartest red wine buys of the moment. Gilbert & Gaillard judges loved its “faultless Rhône characters” (and it has a history of outscoring pricier Châteauneufs).
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Beyond the Label

Brothers David and Eric Martin are fifth-generation winemakers with a long history of snagging top acclaim for their creations. This rich Côtes-du-Rhône release is no exception, offering up outstanding flavors, can’t-beat value and huge critical praise:

“Spicy, peppery nose with jammy stone fruits. The palate offers up lush, polished tannins, southern-style aromatics, generous chewiness and restrained power. Faultless Rhone characters.”

That’s a quote from Gilbert & Gaillard judges, who awarded it a gold medal. It also won gold in Mâcon and 90 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards, where it has a history of outscoring far-pricier Châteauneuf-du-Papes. In short, David and Eric’s boutique release is it a must try for fans of this lush, heady style.

A classic Rhône blend of Grenache and Syrah, it was aged eight months in old oak casks and bottled non filtré (unfiltered), which dials up the flavor impact in your glass. Decant 30 minutes prior to serving to separate any naturally occurring sediment, then pair with char-grilled beef, lamb, mature cheeses and more.

The Martins are known for wines with a wonderful balance of tradition and modern approachability. They’re passionate about preserving the family heritage, and this latest release is delicious evidence of their talents. Very few cases imported—early orders are highly recommended.
