Beyond the Label

From an award-winning cellar established in the 1880s, Campanula is a prime example of why you should be drinking more Hungarian wine. Citrusy and orchard-fruited with some nutty undertones, the crisp Pinot Grigio is extremely versatile around the dinner table and is also plenty delicious on its own—a true rival for Italian-made bottlings.

The wine is the handiwork of the extremely talented Zoltán Kukola, the newest winemaker at Törley, one of the biggest and most respected estates in Hungary. With more than two decades of experience under his belt, he has a history of crafting pours that out-class pricier picks at some of the most important trade shows in the wine industry.

And, as you’ll taste here, he certainly has a talent for coaxing out Pinot Grigio’s most appealing qualities.

Named for the springtime wildflowers that carpet the surrounding hills of the Dunántúli region, the ultra-fresh white brims with floral flavors of apple and pear nuanced by a kick of bright lemon zest. We love it as an aperitif, but Zoltán says it’s a natural partner for all things seafood.

This is one you’ll turn to again and again. Order soon to secure yours.
