It’s crafted by the Van Zellar family, who have made world-class Port for 15 consecutive generations...since 1715! Talented winemaker Alvaro Van Zellar (below) is a former Head of the Port Wine Institute, which means that he had to approve the category for all Port wines released to the market! He named this lovely Port after his maternal grandmother, the Baroness of Vilar.
At just over a decade old, this exceptional Vintage Port is sumptuously smooth, with rich black fruit, baking spice and subtle earthy tones. It will be delicious upon arrival, but also has decades of enjoyment ahead of it.
