Al-Ria Tinto 2019
The talented Diogo Sepúlveda makes this sumptuous award-winner with Touriga Nacional and Syrah from the Algarve (Portugal’s southern seaside). And with its huge flavors, history of acclaim, and major value, it punches WELL above its weight.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Beyond the Label

Wine Spectator recently mused that Portugal is “the most exciting wine place on the planet.” And its southern, seaside enclave of Algarve is our pick for the country’s most exciting region – we think you’ll agree after a sip of this fantastic red.

Winemaking talent Diogo Sepúlveda turned his ambitions to the Algarve, wanting to prove the sun-drenched, popular vacation destination could also grow award-winning wines. His Al-Ría (‘at the seaside’) blends heat-worshipping varieties Touriga Nacional (star grape of Port) and international Syrah.

It’s a perennial award-winner, too, with multiple golds and 90+ point scores to its name. The lush 2019 carries on the gilded tradition with a major gold medal from France’s tough Les Citadelles du Vin.

Considering the modest price tag, this is seriously unbeatable value. Prompt orders would be wise – this beauty won’t last long.
