But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Flavor Profile
The Bougrier clan have been Sauvignon Blanc experts in the Loire Valley (the grape’s spiritual home) since 1885. Today, seasoned winemaker Noël Bougrier carries on his family’s proud tradition with his ever-popular Abbesse.
In a region known for world-class whites like Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé (which can carry price tags upwards of $30), Abbesse stands out, thanks to its fine quality and value. This latest release comes from the great 2018 vintage. According to the region’s trade association, “even the oldest winegrowers can scarcely remember a better Loire Valley harvest, both in quality and yield; 2018 will be etched [into] our memories as a historic vintage.” So you’re in for a real treat with Noël’s fresh release.
Look for leap-from-the-glass aromas of grassy citrus, plus a lovely, ripe peachiness on the palate and a zesty lime finish. It’s a go-to aperitif and equally tasty served with its traditional (and delicious) companion, goat cheese.
This perennial favorite always flies off our cellar shelves, and given the quality of the vintage, we expect it to sell more quickly than normal. Secure your share today.
