Le XV du Président 2021

Flavor Profile
Lovers of Rhône reds, this one’s for you (if you’re quick enough).
Grenache master Mark Hoddy (below) knows the vineyards of France’s sunny south like the back of his hand. He should, too. He’s always combing the area in search of the perfect sites—and the most passionate vinegrowers.
Mark also knows that the Roussillon region is a source of outstanding Grenache—and his ‘presidential’ red proves the point. It’s crafted with beautifully ripe grapes from the Gourdon family's vineyards across the Roussillon and neighboring Languedoc. Many of the vines are over 100 years old, and while they may yield a miserly amount of grapes, the ones they do produce are seriously concentrated in flavor. No wonder Le XV du Président has won so much acclaim…
A previous vintage of Le XV scored a 90-94 point gold medal from International Wine Awards. Continuing the tradition of acclaim, the new 2021 release scooped up a gold medal at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Competition. It’s positively packed with layers of plum and fig, framed by delicate wild herb notes. Tasted blind, it could be mistaken for a far pricier Grenache from the southern Rhône. Discover this super-smooth, great-value treat for yourself.
